HoHoKus Rets operates a Student Resource Center that offers computers, printers, and Internet Access for student use, books and magazines related to training programs, full-and part-time job postings, employer information, copier, fax machine and telephones for use in the job search process.
HoHoKus Rets assists students in finding part-time or full-time employment while they attend school. Assistance includes advice in preparing for an interview, aid in securing an interview and a listings of available jobs.
Although the school does not maintain dormitory facilities, students who are relocating and must arrange their own housing may request additional assistance from the Student Services Department.
The school maintains information on public transportation and a list of students interested in car pooling.
HoHoKus Rets believes that training is enriched by observing real-life applications. When appropriate, field trips are arranged to industrial or professional locations. Guest lecturers are also invited to the school speak to students about career opportunities and current industry applications of educational programs.
Information on drug abuse prevention is available at the school for all students and employees. Referral services are available through the education department.
Campus events include on-campus testing and interviews for job placement, alumni speaker nights, and annual Career Fairs for both the business and electronics programs.
