HoHoKus RETS has an active Career Planning and Placement Department designed to assist students and graduates in obtaining employment in their field of training.
Students have unlimited access to the school's Resource Center and Career Planning and Placement Office, where they receive individualized job placement assistance, including help writing and printing quality resumes, assistance in scheduling interviews, and access to employers who visit campus to recruit. The job openings are posted for students in the Resource Center, and telephone, fax, computers, printers and Internet access are available for students and graduates to use in their job search. All students participate in a series of seminars preparing them for interviews and discussing job search techniques.
Our Career Planning and Placement Department has an active database of well over 2000 local employers that interview and hire the school's graduates. HoHoKus RETS refers students to employers, assists in scheduling interview appointments (both on - and off - campus), and runs on-campus events such as employer seminars, employment tests and interviews in order to help students find placement. The Career Planning and Placement Office also works with enrolled students to assist them in finding part-time jobs, often in training-related positions.
Companies that have recently hired HoHoKus RETS graduates include: Canon Business Solutions, Integrated Access Systems, State Farm Insurance, Pitney Bowes, Medrad, New Jersey Transit, U.S. Postal Service, General Calibration, Bell & Howell, NJ Division of Consumer Affairs, Superior Office Systems, Beth Israel Hospital, Universal Hospital Services, ID Systems, Fujinon, Copy Cat, Champion Plastics, and Masterplan.
Graduates may continue to utilize the school's career planning and placement program at no additional cost.
